Launch the program and in a few clicks it can import your music and video collections, the contents of your iTunes library, your playlists, and more.
Your files are then organised in the Moovida library, which provides several easy ways to view them. So for Music, say, you can choose to look just at your favourites, those you've recently added, and any you've not got around to playing yet.
And the program can even search YouTube to display videos relating to the music you're playing right now, although this isn't exactly easy to find. (You'll have to click View and select Context Pane. Obvious? Not really.)
There are also tools to download cover art, or create "smart playlists" from your media files.
The program can subscribe to podcasts, or access your favourite internet radio stations.
And DAAP support allows Moovida to access media shared by iTunes over your network.
Verdict
The interface isn't as clear or intuitive as it should be, but Moovida does have some interesting features. Might be worth a look if you're not happy with other media centres
